The National Building Research Organization has issued a yellow level landslides warning to several areas in the Kalutara District until 11:00 a.m. tomorrow (14).
Accordingly, warnings were issued to Bulathsinhala, Palindanuwara, Agalawatta, Walallawita, Ingiriya, Mathugama and Dodangoda.
People who live in other Divisional Secretariat Divisions of Horana, Kalutara, Beruwala, Millaniya, Madurawala and Panadura should be vigilant in cutting failures.
The residents of the area are advised to be vigilant regarding the possibility of landslides, rock falls, subsidence and cut slope failure if the rainfall exceeds 75 mm and prevailing inclement weather conditions continues for the next 24 hours
