Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court ordered the release of 8 suspects on personal bail, including Rev Sathivel, Damitha Abeyratne, Rathidu Senarathna (Ratta), Jagath Manuwarana and Joseph Stalin on personal bail.
They were charged with obstructing police officers at the barricade near the road leading to the Fort Magistrate's Court. on 25 May.
Today they appeared in court after they were summoned.
The magistrate accepted the request of the police and ordered the suspects to go to the Slave Island police tomorrow and provide their statements.
