The Disaster Managment Ministry said that funds to obtain dry rations for drought-affected people would be given from tomorrow.

Accordingly, the ministry would be giving the funds to the respective district secretariats.

According to reports, as the first step of this initiative, the ministry has provided funds to the Anuradhapura District Secretariat.

The funds will be utilised to provide dry rations and other items through the cooperative outlets.
