Water Supply to several areas in Kandy to be disrupted

National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated that the water supply will be disrupted to several areas in Kandy due to the installation of new pumps for the Kandakaduwa Service Reservoir of the Udunuwara - Yatinuwara Water Supply Scheme in the Kandy District.

Accordingly, the water supply will be suspended for 08 hours from 09.00 am to 5.00 pm today (19), according to the Water Transport Board.

The water supply to Gannoruwa Water Supply and Drainage Zone will be disrupted.

The Board regrets the inconvenience caused to consumers by the water cut and urges the public to use water sparingly.
