Social media activist Pathum Kerner who was arrested in connection with the unruly incidents reported at the entry road to the parliament near Polduwa Junction earlier this month has been remanded.
Kerner was taken into custody by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) and remanded until the 4th August after he was produced before the Colombo Additional Magistrate's Court.
Kerner has been charged for assembling people to the Polduwa Junction on the 13th of July and breaching the barricades set up for the security of the parliament.
