Minister of Industry Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons & Cooperative Development Rishad Bathiudeen yesterday stressed that , Sri Lanka’s Northern Province which is one of the lowest provincial contributors to its national GDP, is to be linked to the export supply chain.
He added that this will not be done by the province manufacturing output, but more so, by leveraging an abundant resource, the robust youth within the Province.
The Minister stated that he is positive that this initiative can commence the linking process of the Northern Province to our export markets.
