The final day of the Hiru Relay Championship 2026 takes place today, July 3.
The competition, organised under the guidance of Hiru Media Network Chairman Rayynor Silva and fully sponsored by the network, follows a day of record-breaking performances.
Ladies’ College secured victory in the under-14 girls' 4x100 metre preliminary heat and set a new meet record in the 4x50 metre event.
Musaeus College, Colombo, established a new meet record to win the girls' under-12 4x50 metre event, while the boys' title went to D.S. Senanayake College, Colombo.
Walala A. Rathnayake Central College claimed victory in the boys' under-18 and under-16, as well as the girls' under-16 4x800 metre events, alongside several other new meet records established yesterday.
