The Chief Priest of the Sri Bhadrakali Amman Kovil in Bandarawela Sharma Swamy today (21) challenged Dhammika Bandara of Kegalle, who claimed to have produced a syrup that cures covid-19 patients.
Dhammika claims that 'Kali' had told him how to make the coronavirus medicine in a dream.
Sharma Swamy said that 'Kali' would never come in a dream and make such a statement.
Meanwhile a large number of people visited Dhammika Bandara's house in Kegalle yesterday to obtain the relevant syrup.
However, the Chief Priest of the Sri Bhadrakali Amman Kovil in Bandarawela, Sharma Swamy, requested Dhammika Bandara of Kegalle not to do business using the name of 'Kali' in this manner.
