Veteran dancer Kulasiri Budawatta passes away

Veteran dancer and mentor Kulasiri Budawatta has passed away at the age of 71, a short while ago.

He has been suffering from an illness for over two, the family sources confirmed.

He had passed away at his home.

Kulasiri Budawatta is known to be a mentor who specializes in both up country and low country dance traditions, that made significant contribution to the advancement of dance in Sri Lanka.
