New Year relief package launched through Sathosa

The government's relief package for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, which includes essential food items, was launched today (01) through Sathosa outlets.

Under this program, a package worth Rs. 5,000 can be purchased for Rs. 2,500. Beneficiaries were selected from over 800,000 applicants seeking relief.

The package, available until April 13, includes essential food items such as Nadu rice, large onions, potatoes, lentils, sardines, brown sugar, and bread flour.
