A woman, two girls, and a boy went missing after drowning while bathing off the Epamulla sea area belonging to the Pamunugama police division.
Investigations were commenced by the Pamunugama Police Station following information received regarding the incident, which occurred yesterday (30) afternoon.
A 35-year-old woman, two female children aged four and 12, and a 13-year-old male child went missing in this manner.
All the missing individuals are residents of the Ja-Ela area.
Pamunugama Police are already conducting further investigations and search operations with the support of the Sri Lanka Navy to locate those missing after drowning.
