Court pauses session to sentence 15 Easter attack convicts

The Colombo Special Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar has temporarily adjourned the pronouncement of sentencing for the 15 individuals convicted in the primary Easter Sunday bombings case.

The proceedings, presided over by the three-judge bench comprising High Court Judges Navaratne Marasinghe (Chairman), Sujeewa Nishshanka, and Ramanathan Kannan, were paused around 7:30 tonight (22).

Earlier during the hearing, the court delivered its verdict, finding 15 defendants guilty of all charges. They are:
