Central Province Minister M. Rameshwaran arrested

Central+Province+Minister+M.+Rameshwaran+arrested

Four persons including Minister of Central Province M. Rameshwaran have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a supporter of Minister P. Digambaram.

The incident had taken place at a funeral house in Samimalai, Maskeliya 3 days ago.

The supporters of Ceylon Workers' Congress and the supporters of Minister Digambaran had clashed with each other at that funeral house.

Then one of the supporters of Minister Digambaram was injured and he was admitted to Dikoya Hospital.

Thereafter, police arrested 4 persons including CP Minister Rameshwaran.
