The Hatton Court ordered today (11) to arrest the son of Arumugam Thondaman, Jeevan Thondaman for his alleged linked to an assault incident.
The Magistrate gave this order when police produced 4 suspects including the Deputy Leader of Ceylon Workers Congress, CP Minister M. Rameshwaran before courts today (11) over the same incident.
Later they were granted bail.
Police had informed the Magistrate that Jeevan Thondaman is also a suspect in this case.
In this incident, the CWC members are accused of attacking a supporter of Minister Palani Digambaram at a funeral house, a few days ago.
