Government party decides to boycott parliamentary sessions continuously

Minister of Plantation Industry S. M. Chandrasena said the Government party had decided to boycott parliament for as long as Speaker Karu Jayasuriya remains to function in the capacity of speaker of the hour.

The minister made this known at a media briefing at his ministry premises earlier today.
