The results of the 2018 G.C.E. Advanced Level examination have been released online by the Examinations Department.
The results can be obtained via the website of the Department of Examination, www.doenets.lk and www.hirunews.lk.
G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination for year 2018 commenced on the 6th of August, with 327 thousand 469 candidates sitting for the exam at 2268 exam centers island-wide.
Kalani Samudha Rajapaksha of Ratnawali Balika Vidyalaya in Gampaha became Island first in the Bio stream of the GCE A/L 2018.
Second place - Ravindu Ilangamage of DS Senanayaka College Colombo
Third Place – MRM Hakeem of Kareem Zaira in Matale.
Chathuni Vijegunawardana of Visaka Vidhaylaya became Island first in the Maths stream.
Second place – Chamindu Liyanage of Richmond college Galle.
Third place – Thevindu Vijesekara of Royal College Colombo.
Kasun Wickramaratna of Maliyadewa College in Kurunagala became Island first in the Commerce stream
Second Place - Uvini Ranaweera of Ratnawaly in Gampaha
Third place – Malithi Jayaratna of Musaeus College Colombo.
Senadhi Dhamya De Alwis of Lyseum International in Panadura became Island first in the Arts stream.
Second Place - Sithmi Edirisighe of Maliyadewa Balika Vidhaylaya
Third place – Ishani Pitigala of Mahamaya Girls School Kandy.
Pamudhitha Pathiratna of Ananda college Colombo became Island first in the Engineering Technological Stream.
Second Place – Tharindu Heshan of Ananda College Colombo
Third Place – Seshan Vijekorn of Mahasen national Scholl in Nikavaratiya.
