Former UNP parliamentarian for Puttalam Ashoka Wadigamangawa (68) died in a road accident at Padeniya on the Kurunegala-Puttalam main road this afternoon (05).
The car he was travelling had collided with a lorry at the Padeniya junction.
He was also a Puttalam district candidate of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.
