Employees' Provident Fund claim sections at the Labour Department head office and divisional offices will be closed on 12 and 13 May with the objective of containing the spread of COVID-19, stated the Commissioner General of Labour.
The Department further announced that Employees' Provident Fund section for general claims of the head office and the divisional offices will be open from 17 May.
They added that only the customers who visit the offices after obtaining a date and time will be accommodated.
Meanwhile, the services rendered by the Employees' Provident Fund Prior Benefit Claim (30%) sections of the head office and the divisional offices will be temporarily suspended until further notice.
