Shenuki Dishalya of Sri Lanka won the overall championship in the 47kg weight category with four gold medals yesterday.
She won gold medals in all three events, Dead Lift, Bench Press and Squat, and also won the overall gold medal.
With that remarkable victory, she also broke the Sri Lankan national record she had held so far.
The tournament is organized by the Asian Weightlifting Federation in association with the Turkish Weightlifting Federation.
The Asian Weightlifting Championships will be held in Turkey from December 24-30 with the participation of 19 countries.
