The heat index, which reflects the temperature felt on the human body, is expected to rise to the ‘Caution’ level in some areas.
Precautionary measures:
Job sites: Stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade frequently.
Indoors: Check on the elderly and the sick.
Vehicles: Never leave children unattended.
Outdoors: Limit strenuous activities, seek shade, and stay hydrated.
Clothing: Wear lightweight, white, or light-colored outfits.
Authorities urge the public to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related health issues.
