The list of eligible beneficiaries for the second phase of the Aswesuma welfare benefits scheme has been released.
This list is now displayed on notice boards at all Divisional Secretariats, Grama Niladhari offices, and relevant field officers' offices.
The list can be viewed online by visiting the official website of the Welfare Benefits Board, www.wbb.gov.lk, and navigating to the "Aswesuma - Phase 2 Eligible Beneficiaries List - 2025" section.
Applicants who believe there is an error or discrepancy in the information collected during the second phase, or whose names are not on the eligible list, have the opportunity to submit an appeal.
This includes applicants who submitted a preliminary application for Aswesuma Phase 2 but whose household information was not collected by a government field officer.
Only one appeal can be submitted per applicant.
Before filing an appeal, all applicants must review the information provided about their family during the household data collection by accessing the IWMS data system.
QR / HH number and password is necessary to log in.
The mobile phone number provided by applicants during the application process must be correct and active.
If the mobile number is incorrect or inactive, you must visit your respective Divisional Secretariat to update the number in the system.
