Veteran author Chandrarathna Bandara has won the 2025 Swarna Pusthaka Award.
He received the prestigious literary prize for his novel "Piyasara Samaya" at a ceremony organised by the Sri Lanka Book Publishers' Association.
The event was held on September 13 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.
Ranga Dissanayake, the Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, participated as the chief guest.
Along with the award, Bandara was presented with a cash prize of 750,000 rupees.
