A seaplane faced a landing difficulty at Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya today (7) while attempting to pick up a group of tourists.
Police Media Spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police F.U. Wootler, stated that strong winds prevailing in the area caused the incident.
Following the event, individuals on nearby boat tours rescued the two pilots.
Both were admitted to the Nuwara Eliya District General Hospital, where their conditions are reported as non-critical.
