Train operations on the Northern Line were disrupted due to a train derailment.
The Department of Railways stated that a train travelling from Polgahawela to Mahawa derailed at the Pothuhera Railway Station.
The department also said that all trains, including office trains scheduled to run past the Pothuhera Railway Station, will experience delays as a result.
