Givantha Arthasad bids adieu

Givantha Arthasad, the creator of the country's first animation film, has passed away at the age of seventy-three while receiving treatment at the Panadura Base Hospital. He was also the brother of veteran film director Dinesh Priyasad, and family members have stated that details regarding his final rites will be announced later.
