Rain may occur in several areas experiencing dry weather during the next 36 hours, the Department of Meteorology stated.
The department mentioned that rain could occur in this manner in the Uva, Central, and Eastern provinces, as well as in the Polonnaruwa and Mullaittivu districts.
Fairly heavy rain above 75 millimetres may also occur in some places.
Furthermore, the department added that several spells of rain may occur tomorrow in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts.
