Special one day service to issue ID cards for O/L students

Department of Registration of Persons says that a special one day service will be held at the department on 25th of this month to issue national ID cards for students who would sit this year's GCE (O/L) examination.
This programme will be held at the Suhurupaya, Battaramulla from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
A spokesperson said that a parent or any other relation can come to the location with relevant documents in order to get an ID card for a school candidate.
However, the relevant person should bring a letter certified by the Gramaseva officer.
The department also said the students those who have already submitted applications will be issued ID cards as soon as possible.
